Your choice

Google Analytics loads on the main pages in Consent Mode v2 before your choice, with all consent signals set to denied. Google analytics cookies, custom measurement events and Microsoft Clarity require analytics consent; Meta Pixel loads only with marketing consent.

On your first visit, all optional choices are off. The separate Google Signals choice requires analytics consent. Allow all enables all three choices; Reject optional cookies turns them off. You can also save your own selection. The website works without optional services and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Withdrawing consent disables measurement for that category and removes its accessible first-party tracking cookies. After you turn analytics off, Google may still send signals without analytics cookies. If measurement services have already loaded, the page reloads. This does not automatically erase data already received by providers or cookies belonging to other websites.

What is stored

If your browser cannot save the choice in local or session storage, I turn all optional services off and add privacy=denied to this visit’s address. This contains no personal data and preserves refusal when the page reloads. A new choice can be enabled after it is saved successfully; to remember it permanently, allow the website’s necessary storage or remove its old data in your browser.

Necessary: your choice is stored in this browser’s local storage under ml_cookie_consent_v1 without a configured expiry, until you change it or clear browser storage. If that storage is unavailable, it may be kept only for the current session. This storage is not used to measure visits and does not itself allow tracking.
Contact form protection: Cloudflare Turnstile loads when you interact with the form and verifies submissions to prevent spam. It protects the form and is not analytics or marketing measurement.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures visits and clicks; Microsoft Clarity helps understand how the page is used through session recordings and heatmaps. These services may use cookies such as _ga, _ga_*, _clck and _clsk.
Marketing: with marketing consent, Meta Pixel measures visits and clicks to evaluate and target advertising and may use the _fbp cookie. If the URL contains a fbclid click identifier, the website saves it before the consent choice in the _fbc cookie for 90 days and in session storage under __fbclid_pending so it can survive navigation. This preserves the advertising click source; it does not itself load Meta Pixel.

Google Signals

With analytics consent and a separate Google Signals opt-in, Google may associate website use with account data from some users signed in to Google who allow ads personalisation. Google may combine Google Analytics identifiers and cookies from this website with Google’s third-party advertising identifiers and cookies and signed-in account information. I use this for aggregate audience age, gender and interests reports. I do not receive a specific user’s name, email or identity. Reports cover only some visitors and small groups may be hidden. This choice alone does not allow Meta Pixel or personalisation of this website’s Google ads.

Google Signals are optional and initially off. Previous analytics or marketing consent does not automatically allow them. You can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer to stop further Google Signals collection. Withdrawal does not itself delete data Google has already received.

Storage duration

Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_* are configured to last up to 180 days on this website. Cookie expiry is separate from the provider’s data retention period. GA4 event and user data retention is set to 14 months. Age, gender, and interest data remains subject to Google's two-month limit; this setting does not apply to most standard reports based on aggregate data. Other cookies depend on the settings of the relevant service and browser.

Service providers

Google, Microsoft and Meta also process data under their own terms. Cookie lifetimes depend on their current settings and your browser settings.

Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their terms and data-protection safeguards. Contact matej@lackovic.cz to request information, correction or deletion of your data, or to object to processing. See the privacy information for details.
